Repeat or random play

Random play
The tracks on the disc(s) can be played in random order automatically.
Whilst the CD is played or stopped,
press the RANDOM button whilst
pressing down the SHIFT button on
the remote control to begin random
play.
Random playback is disabled whilst the
DVD is played or stopped.
To cancel random play:
Press the RANDOM button whilst pressing down the SHIFT button again.
Notes:
If you press the W PRESET 2 4 (2/4) button during random play, you can
move to the track selected next by the random operation. On the other hand, the
5 3 PRESET X (5/3) button does not allow you to move to the previous
track. The beginning of the track being played will be located.
In random play, the CD player will select and play tracks automatically.
(You cannot select the order of the tracks.)
The DVD disc will be skipped and random playback will be disabled.

To cancel repeat play:

A-B repeat

When play reaches the start point of sound, press the A-B RE-
PEAT button whilst pressing down the SHIFT button.
This displays "AR" (repeat) indicator.
This registers the start point (A).

When play reaches the end point of sound, press the A-B RE-
PEAT button whilst pressing down the SHIFT button again.
This starts A-B repeat from the start point (A) to the end point (B).
To cancel A-B repeat, press the A-B REPEAT button whilst pressing down
the SHIFT button again. This clears the "ARB" indicator from the display.
