Cleaning flue gas paths
The flue pipes should be cleaned at least 2 x a year or after approx. 700 kg
pellets. The flues are behind the combustion chamber.
Open the decorative glass door by pushing the button on the display before you
unplug the stove from the power supply.
To remove the convection fins turn the 4 screws (marked) clockwise, the lid lifts
off. Then carefully remove the convection fins up.
Now remove the two hex screws on the side panel and lift the side panel.
Loosen the 4 allen screws and remove the combustion chamber lid. Remove
the two hex screws and the side cleaning lid.
Now clean the flues with the supplied brush. Vacuum the combustion residues
with a vacuum cleaner.
Loosen the two hex screws under the ash door and open the outer cleaning lid.

Vacuum-clean the combustion residues off the flue gas collecting duct,
especially the areas to the side flues.
Open the two wing nuts of the rear cleaning lid.
Vacuum the combustion residues from the flue gas collecting duct in the rear
side.

Install the removed parts in reverse order again.
Make sure before mounting the convection fins that the 4 screws (marked in
green) are flush.

Then carefully place the convection fins in the supposed recess and press down
firmly with your hand until the cover locks into place.
Note
Your stove may suck in false air via incorrectly sealed cleaning covers; this
air may lead to incomplete combustion in the fire trough and thus piling up of
pellets - FIRE HAZARD! To ensure the proper operation of your pellet stove,
replace the defect (porous, frayed) seals after cleaning and maintenance.
