29. Commissioning

Only qualified personnel must carry out the commissioning and
operation of the boiler and instruct the user.
• Check that the power supply has been switched OFF.
• Check the boiler and system for leaks. Prevent water leaks.
• Install AM display module or BM2 programming module in the boiler.
• Install / connect extension modules, if present.
• Check wiring of power supply, pumps, sensors and modules.
• Check location and seating of fitted components.
• Check all connections and component unions for leaks.
• Check that all flue gas accessories have been correctly installed.
• Open the shut-off valves in flow and return.
• Open the gas shut-off valve.
• Switch on the power supply.
• Switch the system ON/OFF switch on the control unit to ON.
• Check control parameters (e.g. system configuration HG40).
• If the system water pressure falls below 0.8 bar, top up with water until a
pressure of 1.5 to max. 2.5 bar has been reached.
• Check the condensate drain.
• Familiarise customers with the operation of the boiler with the aid of the
operating and installation instructions and advise them of the required water
treatment for fill and top-up water.
• Complete the commissioning report and hand over the instructions to
the customer.
Energy savings
• Instruct the customer about energy saving options.
• Refer your customer to the section "Information for energy efficient operation"
in the operating instructions.
