9.4.8 Check the microswitch, brush motor


Remove rear appliance cover.

Pull the connector plug of the terminal strip X10
from the control PCB.

Connect a resistance measuring device to the
connector plug of the terminal strip X10 between
pin 8 and pin 17.
Target value:
Switch bow of brush motor in idle position
> 1 MOhm
–
Switch bow, brush motor pulled
< 2 Ohm
–
If one of the values is not reached, the microswitch or
the connecting cable is defective and must be re-
placed.
Installation in reverse order

9.4.9 Check supply voltage of brush motor


Remove rear appliance cover.

Turn the programme selector switch to position 5
"Polish".

Measure the voltage on the control PCB between
terminal strips X9 and X7.
Target value:
Switch bow of brush motor in idle position
0 Volts
–
Switch bow, brush motor pulled
21.7 +/- 0.2 Volt
–
Installation in reverse order
