1. How to Start Up the CD Mechanism Test Mode
1) While pressing the CD PLAY/PAUSE button, connect the AC power plug to wall outlet.
After the message "CD TEST" appears on the display,all display tubes light and the mechanism enters the CD Test Mode.
Then press the PRESET button.The display changes the message to "M/TEST"and the mechanism enters the CD Mechanism Test
Mode.
Whenever you press the PRESET button,the mechanism toggles between the CD Test Mode and the CD Mechanism Test Mode.
2. CD Mechanism Test Mode
You can check operations of the various blocks of the CD mechanism as follows.

1. You can operate the CD Mechanism Test Mode regardless of the status of mechanism and switches.Therefore,be sure to exit the
Test Mode after terminating the Initial Mode.

Status
ON when the upper Carriage is located in the deep end.
ON when the upper Carriage is located in the front end.
ON when the DISC2 or DISC3 is being chucked.
ON when the DISC1 or DISC3 is being chucked.
OFF when the Drawer is being Open/Closed.
ON when the Clamper has completely moved down.
OFF when the Drawer is opened.
ON when the Clamper has completely moved down.
OFF when the Drawer is opened.
