13 Internal Connector

13.3.8 EMGMIC (CN3 - Pin6)

This input terminal allows you to input an audio signal
when using an Emergency Microphone.
A 5 V bias is available for a condenser microphone.
You must use AC coupling for connection to this
terminal.

13.3.9 RXAFO (CN3 - Pin7)

This output terminal allows you to output the receive
audio signal to the Scrambler.
You must remove R267 and connect it to the RXAFI
terminal.
This terminal outputs the demodulated signal (300 Hz
~ 3 kHz) before it passes through the De-Emphasis
circuit.
Refer to Section "18 Scrambler" for details.

13.3.10 ALTI (CN3 - Pin8)

This terminal allows you to input an external Alert
Tone.
You may use this terminal for the SmarTrunk Board.

13.3.11 RXAFI (CN3 - Pin9)

This input terminal allows you to input the receive
audio signal to the Scrambler.
You must remove R267 and connect it to the RXAFO
terminal.
You must use AC coupling for connection to this
terminal.

13.3.12 5C (CN3 - Pin10)
This output terminal provides 5VDC at a current
rating of 50 mA.
13.3.13 8C (CN3 - Pin11)
This output terminal provides 8 VDC at a current
rading of 50 mA.
