Other than routine cleaning and other maintenance described in Section 4, the printer
is not intended to be serviced by the user. It must be returned to an Authorized Service
Center. Under no circumstances should the user attempt to disassemble the printer.

• Rem ove any j am m ed supply
• Reload paper supply
• Check or replace t he print er's bat t ery
• Make sure t he paper supply is loaded correct ly, n ot backwards
• Verify com m unicat ion bet ween t he host device and t he print er by disconnect ing
t he com m unicat ion cable and perform ing a print er self t est
• Check or recharge t he bat t ery
• Adj ust t he print cont rast t hrough t he print appli c at ion
• Clean t he print head following t he cleaning inst ruct ion list ed in
• Check t hat t h e paper roll is not deplet ed and t hat t he paper door is closed
• Error reading MCR
• Aft er ext ended print ing, print head m a y be hot ; print er will pause before
resum ing print ing
