4 .1 Pr in t H e a d Cle a n in g I n st r u ct ion s
The print head and plat en roller m ay need cleaning aft er print ing a num ber of rolls of paper,
when new supplies are loaded, or when voids in t he print out are apparent .
Do not use sharp objects to clean the print head. This may damage the printer and
require service or repair

Open t he paper door by pressing t he Paper Door Release But t on as show n in

paper supply door will pop up.

Rem ove t he paper roll.

Moist en a cot t on swab wit h isopropyl alcohol and clean t he print head.
Clean t he plat en roller wit h a dry clot h or sm all brush.
Note: Another cotton swab moistened with isopropyl alcohol may be used to clean the platen. Turn
the platen roller with your finger and run the cotton swab or dry cloth across it. Ensure that the platen
roller is clean all the way around.


Note: Dust build-up may occur depending on the environment and the quality of the paper supply
used. If this occurs, use a can of compressed air to blow dust and paper debris out of the printer.

The print er bat t ery is charged using t he wall m ount adapt er provided. Follow t hese st eps t o
charge t he bat t ery pack.

Plug t he bat t ery charger adapt er out put cable int o t he bat t ery charger connect or as shown

in Figure 3.



The Yellow / Am ber charging LED will illum inat e indicat ing t hat t he bat t ery is charging.
The bat t ery will be fast charged and, aft er approxim at ely 180 m inut es, t he LED w ill t urn

off.

print er.
