Before cleaning
^ Switch the appliance off.
The display goes out and cooling is
switched off.
If this does not happen, then the
safety lock is still activated (see
"Selecting settings - To deactivate
the lock").
^ Disconnect it from the mains.
^ Take any food out of the appliance
and store it in a cool box.
^ Defrost the freezer.
Cleaning the interior and
accessories
Clean the appliance each time you
defrost it.
Remove any soiling immediately - do
not allow it to dry on.
^ Clean the interior and any
accessories with lukewarm water and
a little washing-up liquid applied with
a soft sponge. After cleaning, wipe
with a clean, damp cloth and then
dry with a soft cloth.
The following parts can be cleaned in
a dishwasher:
– Ice cube trays
– Glass plates
The maximum temperature of the
dishwashing programme selected
must not exceed 55 °C.
Contact with natural dyes from
carrots, tomatoes and ketchup may
discolour the plastic parts in the
dishwasher. This discolouring does
not affect the stability of the parts.
The following parts cannot be cleaned
in a dishwasher:
– Freezer drawers.
^ These must be cleaned by hand.
^ Leave the door open to air the
appliance for a short while.
