Some minor problems can be corrected without contacting Miele. If, having
followed the suggestions below, you still cannot resolve the problem, please
contact Miele.
To prevent unnecessary loss of temperature it is advisable not to open the door
while waiting for the appliance to be serviced.
Unauthorised installation, maintenance and repairs can cause considerable
danger for the user. Installation, maintenance and repairs must only be carried
out by a Miele authorised technician.
Problem
The appliance does
not get cold and the
display is not lit up.
The appliance is not
getting cool,
although the display
is lit up and
functioning.
Cause
The appliance has not
been switched on.
The plug is not inserted in
the socket correctly.
Check whether the mains
fuse has tripped. There
could be a fault with the
appliance, the household
electrical wiring or another
electrical appliance.
Demo mode is switched on
and the r symbol lights up
in the display. This allows
the appliance to be
presented in the showroom
without the cooling system
being switched on. Do not
activate this setting for
domestic use!

when the appliance is
switched off.
^ Contact a qualified
electrician or Miele.
^ Contact the Miele Service
Department for information
on deactivating Demo
mode.
