DSe24 is housed in a convenient table top package. using the optional 19” rack mounting panel, one or two DSe24s can be rack mounted in just 1Ru of height. the DSe24 accepts analog high definition or standard definition video input via component, VGA, or composite inputs.
Connect the external power supply to an appropriate source of 120 volt, 50/60 Hz AC power, and connect the power supply output to the rear panel DC power jack. the DSe24 is always on once the AC power cord is connected to its power source.
R8, HDMI CONNECTOR - this connector provides the means to input HDmi video (without HDCP) and encoded audio. R9, ETHERNET CONNECTOR - this connector provides the means to connect the DSe24 to an ethernet local area network for remote control, monitoring, and/or firmware update. it is not recommended that this port be connected directly to a wide-area network without external access controls, like a VPN or firewall.

10 Setup and Programming (continued) BRIGHTNESS, CONTRAST, SATURATION and HUE: these menu items allow the user to assign the brightness, Contrast, and Saturation parameters of the output video values from 0 to 255 with 128 being the default. the range and default values for Hue depends on the ViDeo iNPut mode. if Composite is selected, the range is 0 to 255.

REMOTE CONTROL MONITORING the DSe24 may be used with a PC to allow remote monitoring or control. Connect the ethernet cable coming from the PC or router to the ethernet rear panel connector. Assign a uSeR NAme, and PASSwoRD to the DSe24 using the front panel controls as described previously.
