Throttle Limiter for New Riders

Your motorcycle came with an optional M5
40 mm throttle limiter screw that can be
installed to restrict the maximum engine speed
for new riders.
See page 75 for instructions on how to install
this screw.
Until your youngster becomes familiar with
operating the motorcycle, it is recommended to
keep the transmission in first gear.
Check this screw regularly to ensure that it is
properly tightened.
