12.0 ALUMINIUM WELDING

Setting AL as welding material, the generator will automatically set for the use of the spool gun. Follow these
instructions:
use Argon 100% as welding protective gas.
Use contact tips that are suitable for aluminium for the aluminium wire and make sure that the dia-
meter of the contact tip hole corresponds to the wire diameter that is going to be used.
13.0 PULSED WELDING
Set the pulsed welding mode with pulsation time radjustment through the key (4).
This mode is possible only on manual mode. Through the knob (5) set the pulsation time, and the display will view a number between 5 and
102, the minimum and maximum settings.
With is mode it is possible to obtain a continuous spot welding, the differents spots create a single welding bead. It is very useful to weld thin
sheets, to avoid overheating and the possible perforation of the sheets, without affecting the welding penetration .

In the case you are not capable to find among the
preset parameters the adequate one for the type of
welding you are going to perform you have the possi-
bility to manually set the machine.
Setting has to be done starting by the off machine.

The extinguishing of all leds (MATERIAL – ø WIRE
– GAS) confirms the setting of the manual working. At
the same time the synergic regulation led stays off and
the Manual Regulation Led starts to blink. The display
will view the wording "RDY" to show that in the manual
working all settings are possible. The correct setting is
up to the user experience.
On manual working you can act only on the "MODE"
selector key (2T, 4T, 2T-R, pulsed)

As the machine has been designed as a synergic
welder when you turn it off and on again it will restart
in the synergic mode.
NOTE
Argon controls spatters
Oxygen improves arc stability
Arc stability, good fusion and minimum spatter
Higher heat input suitable for heavy sections. Minimum
porosity.
Arc stability
Minimum spatter
Suitable for light gauges because of low fl owability of the
weld pool
Higher heat input suitable for heavy sections.
11.2 MANUAL MODE
1) press and keep pressed the key (4).
2) power on the machine
3) after a few seconds, release the "MODE"
selector key
