INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS

4.1 LOCATION
be sure to locate the welder according to the following guidelines:
In areas, free from moisture and dust;
Ambient temperature between 0° to 40°C;
In areas, free from oil, steam and corrosive gases;
In areas, not subjected to abnormal vibration or shock;
In areas, not exposed to direct sunlight or rain;
Place at a distance of 300mm or more from walls or similar that could restrict natural air fl ow for cooling.
4.2 VENTILATION
Since the inhalation of welding fumes can be harmful, ensure that the welding area is effectively ventilated.
- Before you connect the unit, check that the supply voltage and frequency are those of the ratings.
- connect the supply cable to a 3P+T plug
Follow these guidelines:
- connect the brown wire to the clamp marked L1
- connect the blue or grey wire to the clamp marked L2
- connect the black wire to the clamp marked L3
- connect the yellow-green wire to the PE (
-Take care to fi x fi rmly the yellow-green wire to the PE (
The socket to which the generator will be connected , must be provided of protection fuse or automatic cut off.
4.3 MAIN SUPPLY VOLTAGE REQUIREMENTS
Your generator is normally supplied connected to a 230/400V three-phase. The generator is made to work with a three-phase 400V supply voltage. For
safety double check the sticker placed at the end of the supply cable.
Should it became necessary to use an input current at 230V three-phase follow these simple instructions:

Bring on the "OFF" position the ON/OFF switch, disconnect the supply cable.

Open the right side panel

Change the connection by following the instructions displayed on the here attached drawing.

Make sure that the nuts holding the bridges are securely tightened.

Re-assemble the side panel.
FOR SAFETY REASONS, DO NOT WORK WITH THE SIDE PANELS PARTIALLY OPENED OR
COMPLETELY REMOVED FROM THE WELDER, IN ORDER NO TO ALTERATE THE COOLING
CONDITIONS.

ASSEMBLY
5.1 HANDLE AND WHEELS ASSEMBLY (FIG.6)
Unpack the welder;
Screw the two casters (A) to the machine;
Insert the axle (B) through the holes at the rear of the welder and slide a wheel
(C) on to each end followed by the retaining washers (D);
Assemble the handle (E) and the supports (F/G) using the screws provided
(H);
