Example
Configure the forwarding ports of the static multicast group 225.1.1.1 as 1/0/1-3
on Interface VLAN 2, and it will receive traffic only from the multicast source
192.168.1.1:
T3700G-28TQ(config)# interface vlan 2

gigabitEthernet 1/0/1-3 source 192.168.1.1
Configure the forwarding ports of the static multicast group 225.1.1.2 as 1/0/7-9
on Interface VLAN 2, and it will receive traffic from all sources:

ip igmp static-group (routed port)

Description
The ip igmp static-group command is used to configure the static multicast
group on specified routed port. To delete the corresponding multicast source
and group on this routed port, please use no ip igmp static-group command.
Syntax
ip igmp static-group group-address [ source source-address ]
no ip igmp static-group
Parameter
group-address
224.0.1.0-239.255.255.255
source-address —— The source of the static multicast group. It is a unicast
address.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration Mode (routed port)
Example
Add the forwarding port 1/0/2 to the static multicast group 225.1.1.1, and it will
receive traffic only from the multicast source 192.168.1.1:
