Changing the brightness of highlights and shadows

Use [Highlight&Shadow Control] to adjust the brightness
of highlights and shadows. [Highlight&Shadow Control] is
a [Multi Function] option (P. 66). At default settings, [Multi
Function] is assigned to the Fn2 button. Press the Fn2
button to view settings. You can then use the rear dial
to adjust shadows and the front dial to adjust highlights.

Press and hold Q to cancel.

Controlling color (Color Creator)

Use the [Color Creator] to adjust subject hue. Changes can be previewed in the
display. [Color Creator] is a [Multi Function] option (P. 66). At default settings, [Multi
Function] is assigned to the Fn2 button.

Press and hold the Fn2 button and rotate the

Select the Color Creator and release the button.
Using the color creator
Press the Fn2 button.

• An options screen will be displayed.

Set hue using the front dial and saturation using the rear dial.
• Press and hold the Q button to cancel any changes.
• Press the MENU button to exit the Color Creator without changing settings.
Press the Q button to save changes.

• The settings are stored in c (Color Creator) of picture mode (P. 68).
• The [Color Creator] picture mode will be selected once settings are saved.
Cautions
• The white balance is fi xed to AUTO.
• When the image quality mode is set to [RAW], the image is recorded in RAW+JPEG.
