OPEN

When the talkgroup is active but no one is talking, the screen displays
OPEN. This indicates that the floor is available and that participants may
request the floor by pushing and holding the PTT Button.
The following navigation options are available when OPEN is displayed:
• PTT Button: sends a request for the floor and to speak on the talkgroup.
When the floor is granted to the requester, a tone is played and the
status changes from OPEN to TALKING
• Left soft key, labeled Menu: returns the device to the Menu
• Right soft key, labeled Ignore: exits the Home Talkgroup and enters
the IDLE Status
• 2-way Navi-key: navigates to the Talkgroups List
