Locking and Unlocking the Keypad

If the Auto Keypad Lock is Enabled, your Iridium Extreme® PTT device
will automatically lock the keypad after 35 seconds to prevent accidental
presses of the keys. When locked, the Keypad Locked symbol appears at
the top of the screen.
When your keypad is locked, only the PTT Button, left soft key, and
power button continue to respond. The remaining keys are disabled. When
disabled keys are pressed, a pop-up message appears with instructions to
unlock the keypad: "Press Unlock then *".
To adjust this setting, go to PTT Options and disable the Auto Keypad
Lock feature.
To unlock the keypad, press the left soft key and then the * key. The
remaining keys will then function normally.
