Assembly & Set-Up IMPORTANT: The snow thrower is shipped with oil and WITHOUT GASOLINE. After assembly, refer to separate engine manual for proper fuel and engine oil recommendations. NOTE: Remove all loose parts and any packing material before assembling. NOTE: References to right or left side of the snow thrower are determined from behind the unit in the operating position. Auger Control Heated Grips (If so Equipped) CAUTION: It is recommended that you wear gloves when using the heated grip. If the heated grip become too hot, turn it off. Fuel to be used - oil gas mixture
For a Cub Cadet 3X, you should use fuel with the lowest ethanol content possible, such as E-10 gasoline (10% ethanol). Avoid using E-15 gasoline (15% ethanol) as it may damage small engines. You can also use a precision-engineered fuel that contains no ethanol.
