f. Remove the cable from the connector on the rear of the DVD drive (see

Remove the two screws that secure the DVD drive to the chassis.

Push the DVD drive out of its front chassis opening.

Replace a DVD drive:

Align the new DVD drive with the front panel opening and push it into the chassis until the front

plate is even with the chassis front.
Replace the two screws that secure the DVD drive to the chassis.

Replace the cable to the connector on the rear of the DVD drive.

Replace the front cover as described in

Replace the top cover.
e.
Replace the server in the rack, replace power cords and any other cables, and then power on the

server by pressing the Power button.
