PremiumDrive Control
Thepremiumdrivecontrolislocated on the upperhandle andisusedto engage the
drive.Pushing the controlforwardwill engage thedrive.Thefarther thecontrolis
pushed forward,thefasterthe mowerwill propel.Once pressure i sreleased f rom
the control i t will returnto the neutralpositionandthe drivewill bedisengaged.
Cutting HeightAdjustmentLever
Thecuttingheightadjustment l everislocated above the left rearwheel.Toadjust
the cuttingheight,referto the Assembly S ection.
DeckWash
Themulchingcoverisusedfor mulchingpurposes. Instead of collecting the grass
clippingsinagrasscatcher o r usingthesidedischarge c hute,somemowermodels
havetheoptionof recirculating the clippingsbackto the lawn.Thisiscalled
mulching.
Side DischargeCover
Yourmoweris shipped asamulcher. T odischarge the grass clippingsto theside
instead,followthe instructions inthe Assembly sectiontoattachthe sidedischarge
cover.

Recoil Starter

pull the recoil s tarterropeto startthe unit.

washsystem. U se the deckwashto rinsegrassclippings from the deck's underside.
