Alwayskeephandsandfeet dear of equipment movingparts. Donot usea
pressurizedstarting fluid. Vaporsareflammable.
CheckingOil Level
NOTE: Besureto check the oil whileon alevelsurface with theenginestopped.
1. Remove t he oil filler cap/dipstick andwipethe dipstick clean.
2. Insertthe dipstickinto the oil filler neck. T urnthe dipstick a 1/4turn intothe
locked positionto fullyseat.
3. Remove d ipstick.Ifthe level i s low,slowlyaddoil to the upperlimiton the
dipstick.SeeFigure 13inset.

Before startingengine,fill with motoroil,capacityis600ml/20oz.Refer t o
viscosity chartbelowforoil recommendations. Donot over-fill.Use asyntheticor
non-synthetk 4-stroke,or anequivalent h ighdetergent,premiumqualitymotor
oil certifiedto meetor exceed U.S. a utomobilemanufacturer's r equirements f or
service classification SG, S EMotoroilsclassified SG, S F will showthisdesignation
on the container.
SAE 30isrecommended f or general, a ll temperature use.Ifsingleviscosity oil is
used, s electthe appropriate viscosity forthe average temperature inyourareafrom
the chartbelow.
