Beforeeachuse, inspectfor loose,broken,damaged, o r worn parts. Donot usethe machineif any of theseconditionsexist. Usea dry cloth to
wipe off any perspirationafter eachuse.
Checkfor smoothroller operation.Wipethe machineto removedust,dirt, or grime.Cleanthe rails andsurfaceof the rollerswith a dampcloth.
Makesureall bolts andscrewsare tight. Tightenif necessary.
Replace the batterieseveryyear(or as necessary).
NOTICE" Donot cleanwith a petroleumbasedsolventor an automotivecleaner.Prevent g etting too muchmoistureon the Console.
Replacing the Console Batteries
If the BatteryIndicatorcomeson, replacethe batteriesin the backof the consolewith fresh batteries. Make surethe batteriespoint inthe +/- directionshown in
the battery bay.
Nete: TheconsoleusesD sizebatteries(LR20). I f you use rechargeable b atteries,the optionalpower adapterwill not rechargethe batteries.

Machine Type Switch
The MachineTypeswitchon the Consoleis presetat the factoryto B(bike)or E(elliptical) Ifyou replacethe console,it will possiblybe necessaryto set the switchfor your
machine.After you set the switch, it is necessary to turn the poweroff andthen turn it backonto start the new modeof operation.
NOtiCE: Makesurethat the MachineTypeis set correctlyto give moreaccuratecalculationsfor Distance,SpeedandCaloriesvalues.
