SAFETY AND PRECAUTIONS

MAINTENANCE

Do not remove the radiator cap while engine
and radiator are still hot. Always check
coolant level visually at the see-through
coolant reservoir.
Never get beneath a vehicle that is held up by
a jack only.
Do not mix different construction types of
tires on the vehicle, such as radial, bias, or
belted tires, as vehicle handling may be
affected. Replace tires with exact size, type,
and load range.
Refer to your chassis manual for complete
maintenance precautions and
recommendations.

EMERGENCY EXITS

Escape Window
The bedroom escape window is secured by
two red safety latches at the bottom of the
window.
To open, lift both latches up and toward the
center of the window, then push outward near the
bottom of the window.

Using Slider Windows As
Emergency Exits
Some coaches are required to have a slider
window as an alternate exit. This window will be
marked EXIT and have a red-handled latch.

Most slider windows along the side of any
motorhome can also be used as alternate
emergency exits, should the need arise.
To use a slider windows as an exit, first slide
the window open, then either slide the screen
open or push the screen material out, depending
on window construction.
Escape Window (Optional)
-If Equipped
The bedroom escape window is secured by
four safety latches at the sides and bottoms of
each window.
To open, release all four latches and push
window out.
1. Side Latches (2) - Pull down toward bottom of
window frame.
2. Bottom Latches (2) - Pull toward the left-hand
side of the window frame.
3. Push window open.
