7.4 MAC Filter Screen

This screen allows you to configure the WAH7003 to give exclusive access to specific devices
(Allow) or exclude specific devices from accessing the WAH7003 (Deny). Every Ethernet device
has a unique MAC (Media Access Control) address. The MAC address is assigned at the factory and
consists of six pairs of hexadecimal characters, for example, 00:A0:C5:00:00:02. You need to know
the MAC addresses of the devices to configure this screen.
Use this screen to view your WAH7003's MAC filter settings and add new MAC filter rules. Click Wi-
Fi > MAC Filter. The screen appears as shown.

DESCRIPTION
This field is available only when you select Unconfigure in the Configure State field and
set Configure Method to PIN.
The PIN (Personal Identification Number) of the WAH7003 is shown here. Select this option,
click Apply and then enter this PIN in the configuration utility of the device you want to
connect to using WPS.
The PIN is not necessary when you use WPS push-button method.
Click the Generate Pin button to have the WAH7003 create a new PIN.
Select this option and enter the PIN of the device that you are setting up a WPS connection
with and click Apply to authenticate and add the wireless device to your wireless network.
You can find the PIN either on the outside of the device, or by checking the device's
settings.
Note: You must also activate WPS on that device within two minutes to have it present its PIN
to the WAH7003.
This shows the current status of the WPS connection.
Click Apply to save your changes or start WPS on the WAH7003.
