Battery indication
The instrument panel has a battery indicator which indicates
battery status. The lamp is lit when the machine is activated.
The lamp is extinguished when charging is in progress.
When all LEDs are lit the battery is fully charged.

Battery is 75%-100% charged
3 LEDs are lit
The battery is 50%-75% charged.
2 LEDs are lit
The battery is 25%-50% charged.
1 LED is lit
The battery is 0%-25% charged.
When the battery is low a red lamp lights up, and the blades
stop rotating to save power. When the red lamp is lit on the
battery indicator, the machine has to be driven to the charging
station.
If the machine stops and has to be pushed to the charging
station, the freewheel fuse in the rear carriage must be
removed. Do not forget to put the fuse back in place before
charging the battery.

BATTERY HANDLING
Disconnect the batteries
The machine has three batteries connected in series. One
battery is located in the rear carriage and two batteries are
located under the seat.
Disconnect the cables from the positive terminals as
illustrated in order to ensure the machine is not live.
Connect battery.

Transport and storage

Loosen the snap lock and lift off the battery covers.

WARNING! Never connect the negative

terminal of the fully-charged battery to, or in
the vicinity of, the negative terminal of the
discharged battery. Hydrogen gas may be
present with risk of explosion.
Assemble the parts in the reverse order.
Always connect positive terminal first.
The accompanying battery is covered by demands in
legislation concerning hazardous goods.
For commercial transports e.g. by third parties, forwarding
agents, special requirement on packing and labeling must
be observed.
For preparation of the item being shipped, consulting an
expert for hazardous material is required. Please also
observe possibly more detailed national regulations.
Do not store the battery in places where static electricity
can occur.
Before longer storage please charge the battery. Extend
the battery life by maintenance charge the battery once
every three months .
Tape or mask off open contacts and pack up the batteriy in
such a manner that it cannot move around in the packing.
Store the equipment in a lockable area so that it is out of
reach of children and unauthorized persons.
Store the battery and the battery charger where the
temperature is between 5 °C and 45 °C and never in direct
sunlight.
Store the charger in a dry area, protected from water,
damp, oil and grease.
The charger must never be stored in the vicinity of
flammable substances or gases.
