To remove the component:
If a full-length expansion board is installed in the server, do the following:
1.
Power down the server (on page 26).
a.
Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b.
Disconnect each power cord from the server.
c.
Do one of the following:

Extend the server from the rack (on page 26).
o
Remove the server from the rack (on page 29).
o
Remove the access panel

If a PCI riser cage has a full-length expansion board installed on it, do the following:

Remove the PCI riser cages (on page 29).
a.
Remove the air baffle in an upward direction as shown in the following image.
b.
If a PCI riser cage has a half-length expansion board installed on it, do the following:
