k. sWing-in/sWing-oUt hAngERs AnD FootREsts
1. height Adjustment
notE–it is recommended that you maintain a minimum of 2.0 inches between the lowest point on the
footrest and the floor.
a. loosen set screw (A) using a 3/16 inch hex key.
b. slide footrest extension up or down inside frame tube to desired height.
c. tighten set screw. Use a torque setting of 144 in-lbs (16.27 nm).
l. ElEVAting / ARticUlAting lEgREst (optional)
1. height Adjustment (see "swing-in/swing -out hangers" above)
1. ElR Pad height Adjustment
a. to raise or lower the legrest Pad, loosen the nylock nut(B) with a 3/16" wrench and lift or lower
to desired position.
b. once your preferred position is reached, tighten the nut to 60 in-lbs.
M. AnglE ADJUstABlE FootPlAtEs
Adjusting the angle on the Footplate
a. loosen the flat head screws (c).
b. Adjust footplate (D) to desired angular position.
c. Re-tighten hardware (c).

n. BAckREst
1. height Adjustment
a. Using a 10mm wrench remove fastener(E).
b. Adjust to the desired backrest height. Back height is measured with the chair in the unfolded position,
from the top of the seat sling to the highest point of the back upholstery in a vertical straight line.
c. Align the threaded insert in the upper backrest cane to the nearest hole in the frame.
d. insert fastener (E) through the frame and thread into the insert in the back cane.
notE– Do not use the top angle adjustment hole for adjusting the back height.
notE– Use a torque setting of 144 in-lbs. when adjusting the backrest.
o. AnglE ADJUstABlE BAckREst (optional)
1. Angle Adjustment
a. loosen button head screws (F) until the eccentric offset washer (g) moves freely.
b. Adjust backrest to desired angle, aligning eccentric offset washer in the slot.
c. tighten button head screws.
d. Repeat for the opposite side.
2. Pivot Point height Adjustment
a. Remove button head screw (h) from the frame.
b. Adjust backrest to obtain desired pivot point height.
c. Replace and tighten button head screws.
d. Repeat for the opposite side.
3. Backrest height Adjustment
a. Remove button head screw ( i )
b. Adjust back tube to the desired height.
c. Replace and tighten button head screw.
d. Repeat for the opposite side.
notE– Use a torque setting of 144 in-lbs. when adjusting the backrest.
