OPERATION
Inspect your motorcycle every
d~y
before
you start the engine. The items listed here
will only LIke a few minutes. and in the
long fun lhey can save you time. expense,
and possibly your life.
I. Engine oil level - add engine oil if
required (page 24).
2. Fuel level - fill fuel tank when ncccs-
s;Jry (page 23).
3. Coolant level - add cool<Jnt
if
required
(page 26)
4. Front and rear brakes - check opera-
tion. make sun: there is no brake Iluid
le'lkage.

and return in all steering positions.
7. Lights and horn - check that headlight,
tail/stoplight, /urn signals, indicators
and horn function properly.
8. Engine stop switch - check for proper

9. Ovcrall chel:k for any fuel, oil, or
coolant leaks.
