Using AF to Focus (AF Method)

Selecting the AF Method
You can set the AF method to [u(face)+Tracking] (p.269) or
[FlexiZone - Single] (p.271) to suit the shooting conditions or subject.
If you want to achieve precise focus, set the lens's focus mode switch to
<MF>, magnify the image, and focus manually (p.275).

Select the AF method.
Under the [z5] tab (the [z3] tab in
<A>), select [AF method].
Select the desired AF method, then
press <0>.
When the Live View image is
displayed, you can press the
<o> button to select the AF
method.
