AC Electric Systems
Besides a 12 Volt DC negative ground system, your
Hunter boat has a 120V 60 HZ AC system.
It is not the intent of this manual to educate you on repair
or extending the electrical system. The scope of this man-
ual is to provide the basic information needed for safety,
operation and maintenance of these systems.
WA RN I N G
!
Electricity cannot be detected without the use of
specialized test equipment. Never think you know
whether a circuit is "live". Always have qualified,
competent professionals inspect or make repairs to
your electrical systems.
8.1 AC Power Systems & Components
The AC System consists of the following systems or
components:
120 Volt AC Panel
Shore Power Line 1
Shore Power Line 2
Generator (Option)
Inverter (Option)
Outlets
Microwave
Battery Charger
Water Heater
Air Conditioner (Option)
The AC system is a three-wire grounded system powered
by either the generator or shore power hookups located
aft. Circuit breakers for AC Line 1 and AC Line 2 are
located in port side euro locker.
Note: Telephone and cable TV inlet jacks are also next to
the shore power inlet plugs.
Note: It is important that you review the "Electric Shock" pam-
phlet included with your manual and understand the importance
of electrical safety.
While electricity is one of our greatest
friends, it can well be your worst enemy. Be sure and follow
the warnings posted in this manual and your component or
systems manuals in your owner's packet and practice good
safety. Always have trained, competent technicians to service
your electrical systems, it could mean your life.
