Draining the Fuel Tank and Carburetor
1.Place an approved gasoline container
below the carburetor, and use a
funnel to avoid spilling fuel.
2.Loosen the carburetor drain knob,
then move the fuel valve lever to the
ON position. Drain the carburetor
until the fuel tank is empty.
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
You can be burned or seriously injured when
handling fuel.
• Keep heat, sparks, and flames away.
• Handle fuel only outdoors.
• Wipe up spills immediately.
3.After draining, tighten the drain
knob and turn the fuel valve OFF.
4.Remove the fuel sediment cup.
5.Empty the contents into a suitable
container. Clean the fuel sediment
cup.
6.Reinstall the sediment cup and
new O-ring and tighten securely.
