5.12 Top Cover Assembly

To remove the top cover assembly:
Disconnect the AC power and any external devices (Section 5.3.1).
1.
Remove the battery pack (Section 5.3.3).
2.
Remove the DualBay device (Section 5.3.4).
3.
Remove any PCMCIA cards (Section 5.3.5).
4.
Remove the keyboard (Section 5.6).
5.
Remove the microphone/display cable cover (Section 5.10).
6.
Disconnect speaker connectors 1 and touchpad cable 2 and RTC battery connector
7.
3 from the system board.
