    Professional Power Amplifier 2 Setup 2.4 Choose Input Wire and Connectors recommends using pre-built or professionally wired, balanced line (two-conductor plus shield), cables and connectors. Depending upon which amplifier input you choose, you should use either 3-pin male XLR connectors, or jack connectors for the amplifier inputs. Unbalanced line may also be used but may result in noise over long cable runs.
