Auto Pause Feature

The auto pause system places the
camcorder in record pause when it is
tilted approximately 90 degrees up or
down or turned upside down.
To Turn On the Auto Pause System
• Slide AUTO PAUSE OFF/ON switch
to ON.

If the camcorder is tilted approximately
90 degrees up or down, turned upside
down, or turned on its side during
recording, it will automatically enter
record pause. AUTO PAUSE appears
in the viewfinder.
To Turn Off the Auto Pause System
• Slide AUTO PAUSE OFF/ON switch to
OFF.
The camcorder will record in any
position.

Electronic Image Stabilizer
(EIS)
The electronic image stabilizer helps
compensate for unstable images caused
by camera shake that can be created by
recording out of a moving vehicle or
while walking along a street. Use it with
digital zooming to stabilize the image.
To Turn On EIS
• Press the EIS button. The EIS indicator
appears in the viewfinder.

To Turn Off EIS
• Press the EIS button. The EIS indicator
disappears from the viewfinder.
Note: EIS will not operate when the strobe or
classic film feature is activated. The
indicator flashes in the viewfinder to let you
know EIS is not functioning.
