The LCD displays information as follows (numbers in above figure are keyed to text below):
1. Application name and its version.
2. Menus available on the RF Manager LCD display:
RF Manager status option provides application status
The Reboot/Shutdown menu allows user to reboot or shutdown the RF Manager.
3. RF Manager in Standalone mode; application is running. Standalone means that RF
Manager is not in High Availability (HA) mode.
4. RF Manager in Standalone mode; application is stopped (error or explicitly stopped by
the user).
5. RF Manager in HA mode. This controller is Active/Primary controller of HA pair.
Application is running.
6. RF Manager in HA mode. This controller is Active/Primary Server of HA pair. Application
is stopped (error or explicitly stopped by user).
7. RF Manager in HA mode. This controller is Standby Server of HA pair. On Standby Server
the application does not run.

Console Port

The console port is a standard serial port with an RJ-45 connector. To connect to a computer, use
the supplied DB-9 to RJ-45 console cable.

Ethernet Ports

The RF Manager Controller has two auto-sensing 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports with RJ-45
connectors. Port 1 (on the left) is the main port, and Port 2 (on the right) is used for High
Availability. Status LEDs are included on the left and right edges of the RJ-45 connectors.

Keypad

To select the menu, push the center button (
To move up or down through a menu list, push the up (S) or down (T) buttons respectively.
An arrow (->) indicates the selected item in a menu or options list.
To select an item indicated by the arrow (->), push the center button (

USB Port

The USB port is not used in this release.

RF Manager (J9521A) is shipped with the following components:
Console cable, DB-9 to RJ-45 (5188-6699)
Accessory kit for RF Manager (5069-5705), which includes:
– two mounting brackets
– eight 8mm machine screws for attaching the mounting brackets to the RF Manager
– four 5/8-inch number 12-24 screws for attaching the RF Manager to a rack
– four rubber feet for horizontal mounting on a flat surface
