Trouble shooting
---------- No Power ---------
PERIPHERY OF CHASSIS
1. Is lamp cover of projector removed?
The interlock switch (SW902) cuts off the circuit of projector
from AC line when lamp cover is removed.
2. Is fuse (F901) blown?
Fuse may be opened when either the LAMP indicator or the
READY indicator isn't Illuminated. Check the fuse.
For continued safety, replace with a fuse of the same type.

3. Is boss of lamp cover inside broken or not fitting?
Check the Interlock switch(SW902) and boss of lamp cover.

4. Is thermal switch(SW905) operating?
If a temperature on the periphery of lamp reaches 100˚C, the
thermal switch will be turned off automatically.

5. Is warning temperature indicator(red) flashing?
If a temperature of inside the projector reaches to 43*C (ass'y
sensor-3), or inside the optical unit reaches to 70*C (ass'y
sensor-2) the projector will be turned off and indicator is
flashing.
Ass'y Power
1. Are the LAMP indicator(red) and READY indicator(green)
light?
If the LAMP and READY indicators is not illuminated, check
the primary circuit and S5V of standby power supply circuit.
2. Check that the FAN DRIVE signal is correct.

3. Is thermal switch(TSW601) operating?
If temperatures periphery of P.F.C. circuit reaches 90˚C, the
thermal switch will be turned on automatically.

4. Check the signal at pin 5 of T651. (Switching power IC out-
put signal)
Ass'y Subpower
1. Check that the Vcc-voltages are correct.
2. Check that the POWER FAIL signal is correct.

3. Check that the IC RESET signal is correct.

4. Check that the Fan drive signal is correct.

No Power
OPEN : abnormal
