Water Filter Status Light
(on some models)
The water fi lter status light will help you know
when to change the water fi lter. When the yellow
(Order) light is on, it is almost time to change the
water fi lter. When the red (Replace) light is on, a
new water fi lter should be installed. See "Water
Filtration System."
After replacing the water fi lter,
press and hold FILTER RESET
for 3 seconds until the Order or
Replace light turns off.

Replacing Water Filter

IMPORTANT: Air trapped in system may cause
water and cartridge to eject. Always dispense
water for two minutes before removing the
fi lter for any reason. Use caution when remov-
ing.
1. Turn fi lter counter clockwise until it releases from
fi lter head.
2. Drain water from fi lter into sink, and dispose in
normal household trash.
3. Wipe up excess water in fi lter cover and continue
with Initial Installation, steps 2 and 4. The fi lter
should be changed at least every 12 months.
IMPORTANT: Condition of water and amount
used determines life span of water fi lter cartridge.
If water use is high, or if water is of poor quality,
replacement may need to take place more often.
To purchase a replacement water fi lter cartridge,
contact your dealer or call 1-877-650-5775 EXT
2362 and ask for #31104 Clean n' Clear water
fi lter.
The dispenser feature may be used without a
water fi lter cartridge. If you choose this option,
replace fi lter with blue bypass cap.
