Routing – Policy-Based
Click on Routing > Policy-Based to get the web page as shown below:
Policy-Based Routing enables a user to define policies to achieve efficient
traffic distribution or load balancing. A set of parameters such as Source
IP, Destination IP, Inbound Interface, Protocol, Src/Dest Ports are used to
identify and direct the traffic out of a specific Outbound Interface.
Policy Based Routing: Clicking on this check box will enable Policy
routing in the Router.
Outbound Interface: The network traffic which matches with all the
below policy parameters will be sent out of this interface.
Policy Parameters: These parameters of network traffic are used to
identify whether the above-configured Outbound Interface should be used
for this traffic.
