Handsfree talking

Handsfree talking, with the loudspeaker switched on, offers
the following advantages:
– other parties can listen in and participate in the conversa-
tion
– your hands are free, you can place the handset on any con-
venient surface or, holding down the handsfree talking
button, place it in the base station/charging unit
– the dial tone, for example, can be heard when dialling with-
out lifting the handset to the ear.
When handsfree talking is activated, the handsfree
talking button

• Handsfree talking when dialling/answering a call

Transferring a call, making an enquiry call

Siemens base stations allow you to transfer an external
call to another handset or to hold a call while making an
internal enquiry call.
e.g.
When the user answers:
• transfer the call: press the end call key
• end the enquiry call: press
