8.31.1. Assembly of Regulator Diode
(D5801)
Step 1 : Apply grease to Heat Sink Unit C.
Step 2 : Mount the Regulator Diode (D5801) onto the SMPS
P.C.B..
Caution : Ensure all pins are seated properly.
Step 3 : Fix 1 screw to attach the Regulator Diode (D5801) to
the Heat Sink Unit C.
Step 4 : Solder the pins of the Regulator Diode (D5801) on the
reverse side of the SMPS P.C.B..
Caution : Before soldering, ensure all pins are properly seated
and no 'floating' of pins.
8.32. Replacement of Regulator
Diode (D5802)
• Follow the (Step 1) - (Step 6) of Item 8.3
• Follow the (Step 1) - (Step 11) of Item 8.4
• Follow the (Step 1) - (Step 6) of Item 8.21
• Follow the (Step 1) - (Step 4) of Item 8.28
Step 1 : Desolder pins of Regulator Diode (D5802) on reverse
side of SMPS P.C.B..
Step 2 : Remove 1 screw.
Step 3 : Remove Regulator Diode (D5802) from the Heat Sink
Unit C.
Caution : Avoid touching the Heat Sink Unit C during
replacement due to its hight temperature as it may lead to
injuries/shock.
