The backlight can be set to light up when a button
is pressed.
To set backlight:
Press LIGHT and MUTING simultaneously until
the four FUNCTION buttons blink red.
To turn off backlight:
Press LIGHT and MUTING until the TV button
blinks red.
Reset the Remote Control

• Any of the FUNCTION buttons can be programmed to
operate other equipment regardless of the labeling. For
example,
DVD
can be programmed to operate a Blu-
ray player.
The remote control can be set to remain lit longer
than the default time setting of approximately five
seconds with the FUNCTION buttons.
To change backlight time setting:

Press LIGHT, VOL+, and then CH+
simultaneously until the FUNCTION button
blinks red.

Select the FUNCTION button that corresponds
to your preferred time out setting and press
G·
To reset the remote control to the factory default
settings, press SOUND, TV POWER, and then
G.
The FUNCTION buttons blink red
simultaneously when successfully reset.
Follow the steps below to program your TV
remote control.

Find the code that corresponds to your
equipment from page 26. If more than one
code is provided, try programming the first
code listed.

Press and hold DVD, AMP or STB
simultaneously with the INPUT button and
release. When in the programming mode, the
FUNCTION button blinks for approximately
30 seconds until a code is entered.

Enter the five digit code using 0-9. while the
FUNCTION button is lit. If the code is not
entered within 30 seconds, you must repeat
step 2.

Press
G
or ENT to confirm the code. If
successfully programmed, the FUNCTION
button blinks twice; if not, it blinks five times.
