Internal switchboard numbers
are unlikely to need a prefix
access code, so the access code
is only automatically inserted
when dialling from the Calls list.
The PBX On/Off setting and
the Access code setting are not
directly linked (i.e. if you set
an access code, then this digit
will be dialled from the Calls
list, even when the PBX is set
to Off).

Set an access code

If you're connected to a switchboard, you might
need to enter an access code (e.g. 9) before each
number is dialled. Your conferencing unit can store
an access code which is automatically dialled before
each number, but only when you are in the Calls list.
1. Press
2. Press
press
3. Press
press
4. Enter the number you want (maximum 1 digit) and
press
When you make a call from the Phonebook, Speed
dial, Redial list or when pre-dialling, this access
code feature just inserts a pause after the first
number during dialling, so that the number can be
dialled correctly, providing the first number dialled
matches the stored access code number. (Please
note it does not insert the code itself e.g. 9).
If you wish to use this feature for dialling, when
you're NOT in the Calls list, then you need to add
the one-digit prefix access code (e.g. 9) to each of
your Phonebook entries.
