Problem
The flash is set up as a wireless
slave, but the light is not

Troubleshooting

• M ake sure that the master flash is within the transmission range, and
that the wireless sensor on the slave is pointing toward the master
flash. Remove any obstructions in the line of sight between the two.

• T he ambient light may be too high. (Page 42)
• M ake sure that the flash zoom setting corresponds to the focal length
of your lens. (Page 27)
• Y our lens is wider than 24mm. Use the built-in wide-angle diffuser.
(Page 29)
• T o fully illuminate your subject when shooting close-up photography,
tilt the flash down to the -7° position. (Page 31)
• Y our camera's shutter speed is higher than its max sync speed in
manual mode. Use a slower shutter. (Page 26)
