Set Up Contacts & Calendar to Sync To wirelessly sync Contacts and Calendar info, set up online accounts with providers like Google and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. If you don’t already have an account with a service provider, you must create one before you set up the account on your phone.
> Preferences & Accounts > Add An Account. Your Palm profile also has an account associated with it. You can use it for Contacts and Calendar info, and for other kinds of info as well, like Memos. This info is backed up daily, but you can access this info only on your phone.

Open Applications Launcher: To open the Launcher, flick up twice from the gesture area to the screen. (In Card view, flick up once.) The Launcher displays all your apps. Swipe left and right onscreen to scroll through Launcher pages, up and down to see everything on the page.
Move Among Open Applications You can open and use multiple applications at the same time. To move among them, first tap the center of the gesture area to shrink the app you’re using. You’re now in Card view, where all open apps appear as small windows (cards).

Enter and Save Info To select text: You can select text in messages, web pages, memos, and so on. See the text selection gestures on the back of the Gesture Guide attached to this guide. Find It Fast In Launcher or Card view, simply start typing a word, name, or first and last initials. Your phone displays any matching results. Tap the one you want. Tap a phone number to dial it. Or tap beside a phone number to send a text message.

Merged Views The Palm Synergy™ feature displays ® data from several sources in a single view on your phone, but keeps the sources of your data separate. Let’s say you use Google calendar for your personal appointments and your company’s Outlook calendar for business appointments.
Linked Contacts The Contacts application also offers a merged view—all your contacts from all your accounts appear in a single list. But more than that, Contacts lets you see all your information for a person in a single view—even if that information comes from multiple sources.

Notifications Notifications at the bottom of the screen alert you to voicemail, incoming messages, upcoming appointments, and more. For some notifications, tap the notification to act on it. For others, such as Calendar reminders, the notification gives you options such as opening the appointment or dismissing the notification.
