Using the Color Camera

Overview

Dolphin 70e Black terminals are equipped with 5.0-Megapixel auto focus cameras to provide easy inte-
gration of color picture and video capture into business applications. The camera lens and camera flash
are located on the back panel of the terminal.

Pictures and videos are stored on the micorSD card in the DCIM folder under Camera
(mnt\sdcard\DCIM\Camera). You can copy your pictures and videos to a computer
view, edit, and share your pictures and videos using the Gallery application.

Taking a Picture

1. On the Locked screen, drag the lock icon
on the Home screen.
Note: If the Camera app does not initialize, verify ScanWedge is disabled.
2. Verify
is selected.
3. Center the object you want to take a picture of on the live preview screen. Adjust the camera
settings or let the camera auto focus.
• Use the slider bar to zoom in (+) or out (-).
• Touch
to adjust the camera settings (e.g., exposure, white balance, and flash).
4. Touch
to capture the picture.
Note: Touch the thumbnail preview to share the picture. Touch the thumbnail preview then press the Menu
button to edit or delete the captured picture.
