1.9 Clip naming

In the PMW500 each clip is created and stored as a file. A user defined clip name will stay with the
clip through post production and is the primary identifier for the media.
The clip name is made up of 2 parts: the Title Prefix which stays the same, and the clip number
which counts up as each clip is recorded.
Title Prefix
This can be up to 42 characters, although
you must limit it to 3 for ingest to Fabric.
They should be simply letters and numbers,
e.g.
MBN = Mr Blooms Nursery
CB7 = Initials of Director, day 7
Change both settings in the user menu...

Number Setting
This increments automatically with every clip
and is not reset when a new card is put in.
Set to 0001 if starting out on a completely
new shoot, or the number of the next clip if
previous shooting has taken place.
Don't reset per card!
