How to operate the AUDIO CONTROL

Adjusting audio volume

Turn the [AUDIO CONTROL] button

to the left or right.
Turn to the right:Increases the volume.
Turn to the left:Decreases the volume.
ATTENTION
Press the [MUTE] button for less than one
second to cut the volume or restore it instantly.
WARNING
Do not adjust the volume or other controls
while driving the vehicle. Do so only while
parked in a safe location.

Enabling the loudness control

The loudness control may be turned on to
emphasize low and high frequencies at low
volume levels.
Loudness
compensates
weakness of low and high frequencies at low
volume by boosting the bass and treble levels.
Press
the
[AUDIO
1
button for longer than one second;
[LOUD ON] will be displayed on the
screen.
ATTENTION
• You can cancel the loudness function by
pressing the [AUDIO CONTROL] button for
longer than one second while the loudness
function is ON.
• Loudness control is not available when CSII
is ON. In order to enable loudness control,
turn OFF CSII. (For details of turning CSII
ON/OFF, see page 61.)
