Description
Oil pressure

Function
Lights when engine oil pressure is below Donnal
operating range. Should light when ignition switch
is ON and engine is not running. Should go out
when engine starts, except for occasional flickering
at or near idling speed when engine is warm.
CAUTION:
Running the engine with insufficient oil pressure
will
cause serious engine damage.
Lights when headlight is on high beam.
Lights when transmission is in neutral.
Light
should come on for 5 seconds after turning
the ignition switch on, then go Qut. If light does no
come on or comes on and does not go Qut, there is
fault in the pressure warning system. If light com
on while riding over 10 mph, rear suspension
pressure must be increased.
