Customizing a Ringtone Using CoolEdit Pro

If you have installed the Coo Edit application, double click to open it. Otherwise, you can
download the installation package from the website:
http://www.toggle.com/lv/group/view/kl36218/Cool_Edit_Pro.htm
To customize a ringtone using Coo Edit Pro:
1. Open the Cool Edit Pro application.
2. Click File to open an audio file.
3. Locate the ringtone file, click Open, the file is uploaded as follows.
A sample audio file loaded is shown as below:
4. Select and copy the audio waveform.
5. Select File->New to create a new file, set the audio format as PCMU, the channels as
Mono, the sample rate as 8000 and the resolution as 16-bit.
6. Paste the audio waveform to the new file.
